Everything you need to know before your physiotherapy or podiatry visit.
A medical referral is not necessary to consult us. You can still be referred by your family doctor or another specialist. Simply contact us to make an appointment.
Each session usually takes around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the condition. During your first session, our physiotherapist or podiatrist will conduct a thorough assessment, explain the root cause of your condition and recommend an appropriate management plan.
Here are some tips to help us achieve an accurate diagnosis.
Before your visit:
- Create a list of your symptoms and questions.
- List all your medications and any previous surgeries.
- Bring relevant medical records and test reports, including X-rays, MRIs and laboratory results.
- If your condition relates to walking or exercise, bring your walking or exercise shoes.
- Bring shorts that may be needed for a gait assessment.
During your visit:
- Ask for clarification if you do not understand an answer from your physiotherapist or podiatrist.
- Discuss your symptoms and any recent changes you have noticed.
- Your clinician will explain the available treatment options and develop a personalised management programme with you.
Our treatments are generally non-invasive and painless.
Our clinics accept cash, GrabPay, NETS, Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Baby Bonus NETS card.
Please note that a 3% surcharge applies to Amex, MasterCard and Visa credit card transactions.
We do not offer direct billing with insurers. Please check with your insurance agent or provider whether physiotherapy or podiatry services are claimable, as some policies may require a GP or specialist referral. We can assist with supporting documentation about your condition if required.
Your first pelvic health consultation will involve a physical examination by a pelvic health therapist, abdominal ultrasound imaging, patient education and an explanation of your treatment plan. The assessment can help identify your risk of pelvic floor issues and allow early treatment if you already have signs or symptoms.
